About Action Against Hunger (ACF)

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Emergency Logistics & Procurement: Provide field logistics, procurement, and transport support for Sida RRM and CDCS SHIELD emergency responses. Facilitate timely delivery of shelter, WASH, food, health, and nutrition materials.
- Fleet, Stock & Asset Management: Coordinate vehicle rentals, field movements, and drivers considering road blockages and landslide risks. Manage project assets, complete fixed asset registers, conduct physical stock verifications, and ensure proper storage.
- Field Administration & Finance Support: Maintain office/accommodation arrangements, check financial bills, invoices, and vouchers before submitting to Finance, and process activity payment requests.
- Documentation & Audit Compliance: Maintain organized procurement, stock, and financial archives adhering strictly to ACF guidelines and donor compliance requirements.
- Safeguarding & Inclusion: Promote ACF commitments regarding gender equality, child protection, disability inclusion, and safeguarding protocols.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 1 year of experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Field Experience: Proven background in logistics, procurement, field administration, and operations within NGO/INGO humanitarian or development settings.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of procurement procedures, supplier management, fleet management, and finance documentation. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Operational Readiness: Ability to manage tight deadlines in fast-paced emergency settings and travel extensively across project areas in Nuwakot and Rasuwa.
