Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Safe & Reliable Transport: Drive office vehicles to deliver safe and secure passenger and cargo transport in compliance with Prosper Global's Field Fleet Management Policy and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Compliance & Safety Protocols: Adhere to government traffic regulations, Fleet Safety SOPs, Vehicle Use Road Safety guidelines, and Safety and Security Management Plans.
- Vehicle Maintenance & Log Keeping: Perform routine vehicle inspections, basic repairs, preventative maintenance checks, and maintain accurate mileage and fuel logs.
- Emergency & Incident Handling: Follow incident reporting protocols and apply emergency first-aid or fire-safety procedures whenever required during field trips.
Required Qualifications & Eligibility
- Education: Minimum SLC / SEE completion or equivalent education. Basic computer skills are required.
- Driving Experience: Minimum 8 years of proven experience driving off-road / 4x4 vehicles with a completely clean driving record.
- Licensing & Certifications: Valid Nepalese driving license along with a recent eyesight test report confirming clear day and night vision.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle repair and maintenance, GPS operation, road safety protocols, traffic regulations, first aid, and fire safety.
- Sector Experience: Prior experience providing fleet and logistical support in humanitarian or development response programs is highly desirable.
> District Preference: Priority and preference will be given to qualified local candidates from Dhading, Nuwakot, and Rasuwa districts.
