About the CS4FS Project
In partnership with Welthungerhilfe, Aasaman Nepal (ASN) is implementing the CS4FS project aimed at enhancing food security and climate resilience for 3,000 marginalized households in Dhanusa District. The initiative focuses on transitioning communities to regenerative agriculture, empowering civil society organizations to advocate for agro-ecological policies, and supporting local governments in Madhesh Province to institutionalize nature-based agri-food systems.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Program Data Quality & MEAL Tracking: Maintain robust data collection systems, verify dataset accuracy, track Detailed Implementation Plans (DIP), monitor Indicator Action Trackers (AAT), and maintain quality benchmarks.
- Analytical Data Presentation & Reporting: Clean and analyze field data using statistical tools, compile quantitative and narrative reports for donors, and manage disaggregated demographic reporting while maintaining participant privacy.
- Team & Program Decision Support: Provide evidence-based insights to project leadership, follow up on community feedback/complaints mechanisms, and train program teams on data collection standards.
- Safeguarding & Policy Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to ASN's Safeguarding Standards, Child Protection Policy, PSEA, and Do No Harm frameworks across all MEAL activities.
Eligibility Criteria & Minimum Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Gender & Development, or related fields.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant proven experience as a MEAL Officer or in a similar monitoring/evaluation role.
- Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in projects related to agriculture, forestry, environmental science, GESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion), or gender-transformative social programs.
- Technical & Language Skills: Strong data analysis skills, excellent report writing skills in English, and fluency in Nepali and local languages (Maithili/Bhojpuri preferred).
- Age Limit: Candidates aged between 21 to 55 years are eligible.
