About Hami DajuVai & The Regional Convening

Established in 2019, Hami DajuVai (HDV) is a youth-led feminist organization in Nepal specializing in men and masculinities, gender justice, and engaging men and boys in feminist movements.

In partnership with MenEngage Alliance South Asia (MEASA), HDV is serving as the local secretariat for the Asia Regional Convening (Moving Beyond Allyship: Masculinities and Systems Change in Asia), taking place in Kathmandu from December 7–9, 2026. HDV invites applications for two short-term Project Coordinator positions to lead event planning, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution.

Open Positions & Role Breakdown

1. Project Coordinator – Programme & Stakeholder Coordination

• Vacancies: 1 Position
• Duty Station: Lalitpur (Full-time)
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate program implementation with the MEASA Secretariat and Programme Committee.
  • Manage communications with local/international speakers, facilitators, artists, and contributors.
  • Consolidate speaker profiles, session presentations, policy briefs, and session materials.
  • Lead post-event documentation, including compiler responsibilities for the official convening report.
  • Provide on-site technical and program support during the 3-day event.

2. Project Coordinator – Operations & On-Site Logistics

• Vacancies: 1 Position
• Duty Station: Lalitpur (Full-time)
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, venue arrangements, room setups, accessibility, and local vendor contracts (AV, catering, printing, transport).
  • Supervise participant registration systems, master attendee databases, and travel/airport transfer arrangements.
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteer teams for registration desks and session halls.
  • Direct daily on-site operations and lead vendor/logistical close-outs post-event.

Eligibility Criteria & Key Requirements

• Language Skills: Full fluency in written and spoken English and Nepali.
• Preferred Background: Prior experience working within GESDI (Gender Equality, Social Development, and Inclusion) or feminist organizations.
• Event Management Experience: Proven track record in coordinating national or international conferences, stakeholder workshops, or large-scale event logistics.
• Required Equipment: Must possess a personal laptop.
• Mobility & Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours/weekends during event preparation and possess strong cross-cultural communication skills. (Having a two-wheeler with a valid driving license is an added advantage).
